2017 Hike for Spencer
Since it’s inception seven years ago, The Hike for Spencer has raised over $300,000 for the Spencer Nelson Memorial Fund-Winter Park Ski Education Foundation. All the monies raised were used to fund scholarships and help athletes with thousands in travel costs as they attain the national level of competition in their sport.

2011 Hike for Spencer
The first Annual Hike for Spencer was held in August 2011 and had over 400 participants, raising $30,000 for the Spencer Nelson Memorial
Fund-Winter Park Ski Education Foundation. The Spencer Nelson Memorial Fund helped 30 Grand County Athletes in the 2011 year.
